I’m a left-handed person in a right-handed world and, in a way, that’s effectively symbolized my experience in life. I’ve always been a little different than the people around me–wherever I’ve happened to end up. I was born and raised as a member of the Baha’i Faith in South Carolina, moving up to Virginia when I was still in grade school. Growing up as a Baha’i has given me an incredibly rich spiritual background which, in my (allegedly) mature adult life, has served as a really cool launchpad for my investigations of literature, people, history, the mind & the cosmos in general. Full disclosure: I’ve been an avid bibliophile for as long as I can remember. Inspired by such masters as James Joyce and Vladimir Nabokov, as well as the incredible lyrical contributions of authentic hip-hop, I’ve been authoring original compositions of all kinds since my teenage years. In fact, I went to Thailand in 2012 with the precise intent of converting my day-to-day reality into electric writing content. Four years later: mission accomplished! Which brings us to the present…after having filled all my notebooks, becoming fluent in Thai, and helping launch a hip-hop scene in Chiang Mai, I now find myself back in the States with a distinct, unavoidable goal in mind: to release a pair of fiction ebooks and become a self-published author! This website & blog is a document of that journey, which I’d like you to be a part of. One thing’s for sure–this left hand won’t be getting a break anytime soon!
